After the success of first of 1st International Slide Circuit 2004, Photolovers organized its 2nd International Slide Circuit in the year 2005. This circuit was approved by the Photographic Society of America, the FIAP and the Federation of Indian Photography. Special recognition was given by the PSA for efficient management of the 2004 circuit.

This circuit was organized with three partner photographic clubs at Indore, Bhopal and Vidisha. In addition to the 4 sections of Color Slides, Nature Slides, Photo Travel Slides and Photo Journalism slides, a new section under color slides was also added this year with a special theme of Faces. This new section was very well accepted and very beautiful entries we submitted.

 

Entries were received from 31 countries. A total no. of 2271 slides were received. The percentage of acceptance for the entire circuit varied from 27.25 % to 36.72 % in all the five sections.

 

Photolovers published a bigger catalog this year in A4 size and 155 pictures all in 4 color reproduction were printed on the art paper and the catalog has been a collector’s item and has been widely appreciated by the entrants.

 

The Photolovers is now organizing its third International Slide & Digital Circuit 2006 with seven sections including five slides and two digital sections. The closing date is 29th Sept. 06 and the entry form can be downloaded from this website. This 2006 circuit has been given special recognition by the Photographic Society of America.
