4th Photolovers International Slide and Digital Circuit 2007 was given special recognition by the Photographic Society of America and it was also approved by the FIAP.  This Circuit was also approved by the IIWF, Germany and Gold Medals were offered by them to the winners.  There were 5 sections with dual projections and these were 1. Coloured Projected Images 2. Coloured Projected Images – Theme – "Water", 3. Nature section including Wild Life, 4. Photo Travel section and 5. Photo Journalism section.  The judging of the entries received was done by 3 independent jury members.  We received 3291 entries which included  slides and also digital entries from 37 Countries.  The percentage of acceptances of the entire circuit remained between 33.7% to a maximum of 37.8% which was much more as against the prescribed norms of a minimum of 25%.

 

As it was a dual projection circuit, we received excellent quality slides and also extremely good digital images in all the sections.

 

We published an A-4 size, full coloured catalogue on Art paper. The speciality of this catalogue was that it was a hard bound coffee book publication and we reproduced a total number of 222 coloured photographs including many images which were published in full page and also on half pages.  This excellent quality of our catalogue was highly appreciated by the entrants and other clubs and it was sent to all the entrants by Air Mail only.  All the Awards and beautifully made, individual Certificates of Merits were also sent to the participants by Air Mail and the Circuit was a grand success.

 

Our Catalogue of this 2007 was awarded 4 Star rating by the FIAP.
